Multiple branch office expansion


PosiGen Solar Solutions, a leader in solar photovoltaic systems, energy efficiency retrofits and energy education, came to Velocity with a challenge: With additional offices coming online in Louisiana, New York and Connecticut how would their B to C marketing material be housed and distributed in a timely and efficient manner. Future expansion into other cities was also a near future consideration.


Velocity prides itself as the "keeper of the brand." The one source location that controls the execution and distribution of brand marketing materials for a consistent and relevant message offering. Working directly with PosiGen's Marketing Manager, the Velocity management team deployed VELO, their proprietary software system that manages marketing support materials and branded promotional products under one roof through an interactive storefront dashboard. The storefront, uniquely branded for PosiGen, included marketing collateral such as business cards, postcards, rack cards, as well as promotional items such as coolers, sunglasses, water bottles, pens and apparel. Branch offices were allowed to log onto the site and order the approved products they needed. Ordered items were then shipped directly to the branch. The dashboard provided extensive reporting tools to track costs, usage and low inventory amounts for the reorders of popular items.


  1. By eliminating the "guess work" from the new offices on how to create and access critical marketing materials, PosiGen was able to gain control of the creation and production of these sales tools to ensure that all offices stayed consistent and compliant with brand standards.
  2. Inventories were controlled through use of the online tool on the dashboard saving marketing dollars and creating detailed intelligence for forecasting.
  3. Material was produced on-demand therefore eliminating waste while providing a customized solution per location within brand standards.
  4. 24/7 access to the online storefront whether the user is in the corporate office, branch office or traveling between accounts.
